Rapid Transformational Therapy
Rapid Transformational Therapy is a form of therapy that combines techniques such as hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and neuro-linguistic programming to help adults to identify negative thought patterns, usually going back to childhood, the root cause of issues, and helps to reframe these thought patterns and beliefs that prevents moving forwards and the healing process.
RTT is effective for domestic abuse victims/survivors for several reasons:
-
It can achieve rapid results, without having to retraumatise the victim/survivor having to retell their story such as in talking therapies. Domestic Abuse (DA) victims/survivors usually struggle with difficult, intense emotional and physical symptoms. RTT is designed to address the root causes so it can help DA Victims/Survivors to move forwards more quickly in their healing journey.
-
Uses hypnotherapy techniques to help clients to access the subconscious mind, where many of the limiting beliefs and behaviours are found. Trauma survivors often have deep-seated beliefs and emotions that are locked away and can be difficult to access and process.
-
RTT empowers clients supporting them to take control of their thoughts and emotions. Particularly beneficial to DA victims/survivors who usually feel helpless in their lives and not been able to control the impact of DA on their lives, which helps them to feel that they can control the direction of their lives, their thoughts and beliefs and begin moving forwards in the healing process.
-
RTT is designed to address the root cause of issues, behaviours, thoughts, beliefs, and this helps DA survivors/victims, who struggle with ongoing symptons related to the trauma they have experienced, to make sense of things and begin to resolve this trauma and move forwards with their lives.
Overall, RTT can be a powerful tool to support DA Survivors/Victims, who want to understand the root cause of their symptoms and make lasting changes in their lives for the better. Our RTT therapists are qualified, experienced practitioners and will tailor the therapy sessions specific to the DA Survivor/Victim’s needs.
